Refund Policy

At Shades of Aşk Photography, we invest significant time, planning, and resources into every wedding and event. This Refund Policy outlines our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and payments.

 

 

1. Booking Amount

• The booking/retainer amount paid to secure your wedding date is non-refundable.

• This amount confirms your date and blocks our team exclusively for your event.

• We decline other bookings for the same date once confirmed.

 

 

 

2. Cancellation by Client

If the client cancels the booking:

• The booking amount will not be refunded.

• If cancellation occurs close to the event date and work has already begun (planning, pre-wedding shoot, logistics, editing, etc.), additional charges may apply based on the work completed.

 

 

 

3. Rescheduling

• Rescheduling is subject to availability of the new date.

• If the team is available, the booking amount will be adjusted toward the new date.

• If the team is unavailable on the rescheduled date, it will be treated as a cancellation, and the booking amount will remain non-refundable.

 

 

 

4. Refund After Event Coverage

• Once the wedding/event has been photographed or filmed, no refunds will be issued.

• Creative style, editing approach, and artistic interpretation are subjective and not valid grounds for refund.

 

 

5. Delays in Payment

• Deliverables such as edited photos, highlight films, albums, or raw data (if agreed) will be delivered only after full payment clearance.

• Delayed payments may result in delayed delivery timelines.

 

 

6. Cancellation by Shades of Aşk Photography

In rare cases of:

• Serious illness

• Emergency

• Natural disaster

• Unavoidable circumstances

We will:

• Make reasonable efforts to arrange a professional replacement team, OR

• Refund the amount received (excluding any completed work or third-party expenses already incurred).

 

 

 

7. Third-Party Expenses

Payments made toward:

• Travel bookings

• Accommodation

• Album printing

• Special equipment rentals

are non-refundable once incurred.

 

 

 

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to government restrictions, venue limitations, natural calamities, or unforeseen emergencies.

 

 

 

9. Governing Law

 

This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Pune, Maharashtra.
